Qualifying life events allow employees to make changes to their medical, dental, and vision coverage. However, there are very strict definitions of a qualifying life event along with tight deadlines to report these events and requests changes to your coverage. This article breaks down what a qualifying life event is, the timelines to request an update, and other items outside of medical, dental, and vision coverage to consider.

Luckily, there are quick ways to mitigate this situation - even if you don't notice until you are checking in at your appointment! This article provides directions on how to located a digital card, print a temporary card, and request a new physical card be mailed out to you.
