2015-2023 Sheri Buretta

Sheri Buretta was appointed in 2015 by Governor Walker. Regent Buretta is the Chairman of the Chugach Alaska Corporation. She is also Director of the Native American Contractors Association and serves on the Board of Directors for the Alaska Federation of Natives, the Board of Directors for Alaskans Standing Together, the Tatitlek Corporation Board, and the ROSSIA Russian Orthodox Sacred Sites in Alaska, Inc. She previously served on the Anchorage Economic Development Corporation Board, the Foraker Board, and the Prince William Sound Regional Citizens Advisory Council.

Regent Buretta was born in Anchorage; her family is from the village of Tatitlek located in Prince William Sound. She holds an associate degree in accounting from the University of Alaska and an associate degree in business from Gulf Coast Community College in Florida. Regent Buretta and her husband Gary have two beautiful children, Anastasia and Bo.
