Revised findings for the Report on the Redesign of the System Office (ORS)

Revised preliminary findings of the University of Alaska Committee on Potential Savings through Changes in the Role and Mission of the System Office and Campus Administrative Processes is available now on the Board of Regents' Web Page at .

The committee's preliminary findings were released on Oct. 22 and that report is still available on the same Web page.

The Planning and Development Committee of the Board of Regents held the first audioconference public hearing on the report Tuesday, Nov. 4, and another audioconference hearing will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7. For locations, call the Board of Regents' Officer, 907-474-7908.

UAF Chancellor Joan Wadlow, chair of the Potential Savings Committee, said the committee's final report will be given to UA President Jerome B. Komisar as soon after the public hearings as possible. President Komisar will use the report to formulate his own recommendations to the Board of Regents later this month.
