Chancellor Wadlow presents a report on the Redesign of the System Office (ORS)

The Planning and Development Committee of the University of Alaska Board of Regents will meet Wednesday, October 29, in Anchorage to receive and discuss the report from the Committee on Potential Savings through Changes in the Role and Mission of the System Office and Campus Administrative Processes.

University of Alaska Fairbanks Chancellor Joan Wadlow, chair of the Potential Savings committee, will present and discuss the report's recommendations with the Planning and Development Committee. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in the chancellor's conference room in the administration building at the University of Alaska Anchorage. The meeting is expected to adjourn at 1 p.m.

Early in November the Planning and Development Committee will hold at least two public hearings for the public and the university community, and will meet again on November 14 to consider the report prior to the regular meeting of the Board of Regents on Nov. 20 and 21 in Anchorage. The public audio conference hearings will be held November 4 from 6 to 8p.m. and November 7 from 1 to 3 p.m., with the specific locations for the hearings announced as soon as they are determined.
