Executive Leadership Team reviewing System Office mission statement

In mid-May a working group assembled to draft a mission statement for the System Office transmitted its draft to System Office leadership. The Executive Leadership Team discussed the draft during its May 24 meeting, and have been given a July 1 deadline to suggest any revisions.

The Office of Public Affairs recently created an updated style guide to help System Office employees with their written communications and publications. The guide provides suggested language for referring to the University of Alaska system, the System Office and for talking about the three universities within the university system.

Outside Employment Activities Annual Disclosure reminder

All University employees (including regular, term, temporary, student and full and part-time faculty and staff) are responsible for complying with the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act (Alaska Statute 39.52). The Act sets standards for how we do our University jobs, and to a lesser extent, may limit our non-University activities.

UA HR Expanding Brown Bag Sessions for Supervisors
