Matthew Paskin
Matthew Paskin joined UA Statewide as the Executive Assistant to the President and Board Coordinator for the University of Alaska Foundation on 13 Feb 2019.
In this position, Paskin provides senior executive level support, information management, and work flow oversight to the President of the UA Foundation and Board of Directors in support of internal and external engagements, donor relations, and special events planning. Before he joined the University of Alaska, Paskin spent 23 years in the US Air Force, most recently assigned to the Alaskan Command at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.
He completed US Air Force ROTC training at Manhattan College while earning an associates degree from Kings Borough Community College of the City University of New York and bachelor’s degree in human communications from Hunter College of the City University of New York. He also holds a master’s degree in organizational management from The George Washington University and master’s in business administration in supply chain management from the Naval Postgraduate School.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Paskin, his wife and two kids moved to Alaska in 2012. Paskin is a foodie who also enjoys grilling and barbecuing among other gastronomical pleasures.
