Kelly James re-joins System Office of Academic Affairs & Research

Kelly James will be re-joining the office of Academic Affairs & Research as the executive assistant to Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs Paul Layer. She held a similar role from 2018 to 2020. James previously served at UAF where she was the assistant to the Institute of Northern Engineering (INE) Director Bill Schnabel. She also has served as the INE Travel Coordinator and is cross-trained in procurement and human resources. In February 2020, she left the university to work at Kinross Fort Knox in their external relations department. 

Kelly will begin work on March 8.
