Donna Bozeman retires

Kelley Lassey

You’re retiring!! Now what? Well, for one of our HR team members, the answers to these questions come with confidence and excitement. For Donna Bozeman, University of Alaska HR Personnel Technician, retirement is right around the corner. To be sure we sent her off with a big thank you, we would like to spotlight her and let her know she will be missed. Bozeman says what she will miss most about working at UA, is helping new employees grow and watching them find themselves.

Bozeman started with the University of Alaska (UA) 17 years ago and has been in UA HR for 10 years. In retirement she is excited to be her own boss and start traveling the world, starting with a four-month world cruise scheduled for January 2022.

Bozeman is an artist and creates amazing jewelry that she freely shares with her family and friends. She is meticulous in her craft and selects beautiful stones and beads from Antigua as well as other islands she visits frequently with her traveling buddy, her mother.

When asked what her biography would be titled, she responded, “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made.” We couldn't agree more, Donna Bozeman! Happy sailing! #UAHRspotlight
