Executive Leadership Team reviewing System Office mission statement

In mid-May a working group assembled to draft a mission statement for the System Office transmitted its draft to System Office leadership. The Executive Leadership Team discussed the draft during its May 24 meeting, and have been given a July 1 deadline to suggest any revisions. After that date, the updated language will be transmitted back to the working group for its response.
It is the expectation that the new mission statement will be incorporated into Board of Regents policy, and will be presented for a first reading during the board’s September meeting. The final language will be up for formal approval in December.
