2020 Title IX training

The University of Alaska (UA) is committed to providing a safe and respectful campus environment, free from discrimination as required by Title IX through ongoing efforts in training and prevention. Updated student and new employee training modules were developed that include the new changes to Title IX policy and regulations based on new federal regulations.

Employees are required to complete Title IX training each fiscal year. Training opens September 1, and will be available through MyUA. The employee deadline for training is September 30, 2020.

The training includes how to recognize and identify sexual discrimination and sexual harassment, how to file a report and how the university responds to allegations, including a list of relevant resources.
