*On request, the Lesson Planning: Humanities category has been pre-approved for students to create a lesson ON Alaska Native language and/or culture, but not IN the native language. The bi-lingual categories are only Spanish and limited in scope, given the challenges of judges being unable to judge something they cannot understand. The agreement is that students can share a lesson about their culture, language, etc, using their native tongue, but the lesson must be delivered in English. |
