Mentor Professional Development
The primary expectation of a coach is to provide support to the instructional mentors in a manner that would help move their practice forward. Having the relevant competence or experience to work with mentors is important, it requires the coach to have a good understanding of all the mentor tools being used and language skills needed to guide conversations in a productive direction. The effectiveness of a coach is directly related to how well they are able to foster a working relationship with their mentors.
