Sally Navarre
After receiving my B.A. in Native American Cultural Studies from the Evergreen State College I earned my teaching degree from the Pacific Oaks College and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. I have taught for 21 years in Alaska, the last 17 in Anaktuvuk Pass. My areas of expertise include language and literacy and Early Childhood Education.
"It has always been my goal for students to develop a life-long love of learning with a strong belief that they can achieve anything. I am honored to be chosen as a statewide mentor and look forward to empowering new teachers as they begin their careers. As a life-long learner I am also looking forward to the professional development opportunities that will allow me to grow as an educator.!"
