I taught for 25 years in MSBSD, K-5 Teacher and Instructional Coach

As I grew up watching my mom teach and make a difference in so many lives, I knew before I graduated high school that I too wanted to be an educator. However, my first years were not as easy as I anticipated, and my marvelous mentor shared her knowledge, experience, and insights to help me survive and eventually thrive in the classroom. 25 years later, 17 in the classroom and 8 as an instructional coach, I am honored to now be a mentor and eager to support early career teachers in our great state of Alaska. In addition, I look forward to sharing my passion for education while building relationships with fellow educators.
