Mentor Biography
Fred Ross
Fred received his teaching credential in Elementary Education from Western Oregon State College and spent the last 21 years teaching in rural Alaska. He is a highly qualified elementary and middle school teacher, and a fellow of the Alaska Science Consortium and Alaska State Writing Consortium.
"The 'ah-ha' moments are great, but it's just as satisfying watching as kids develop personal responsibility and reach the understanding that hard work correlates with success. I am excited to be working with teachers who will positively influence the next generation of Alaska's children."
