DeEtta

DeEtta earned her teaching credential at Southern Oregon College in Ashland, Oregon, and taught for 10 years in two communities near Medford. Her experience in Oregon includes teaching grades 2, 3/4, 4, 5/6, and 6, and also serving as a special education resource teacher. She then moved to Alaska, where she taught in Port Graham 4 years and Seward (16 years). In Port Graham, DeEtta taught grades K-10, and was the principal/teacher. In Seward, she taught grades 3, 3/4, and 6. DeEtta especially enjoys teaching reading and language arts.
