Mentor Biography

2004-2006, 2019-present

Bob was released from the Matanuska-Susitna (Mat-Su) Borough School District. He mentors teachers at Wasilla High and Colony High in Mat-Su, and also schools in Savoonga and Gambell in the Bering Strait School District. He has 17 years of experience teaching math at the secondary level. Most recently he served as the Alaska State Commissioner for the Department of Education and Early Development (2014-2018).
