Bev

Bev received her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Minnesota, her Masters in the Art of Teaching from Alaska Pacific University and a Special Education Certification from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. The last 20 years of her teaching career have been with the Anchorage School District. Whenever possible she can be found outdoors: hiking, running, biking, skiing, camping or berry-picking. She has two grown daughters, both living in Alaska.

"As a mentor teacher I look forward to supporting the growth of teachers throughout Alaska and embarking on a journey of professional change and growth for myself. I'm awaiting the ah-ha moments of working with the teachers who delight in those ah-ha moments of the children they teach."
