During the 22nd Annual College Savings Plan Network (CSPN) conference in Florida Jim Lynch was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Members of the College Savings Plans Network convene annually to learn about active state college savings plans, review technical aspects of the programs, network with counterparts from other states and review federal legislation that will impact programs.

Lynch, known as the "Godfather of 529" in some circles, was a founding member of CSPN. He designed and implemented the UA College Savings Plan and is considered an industry expert. He sits on the CSPN legal committee. He has never missed a CSPN meeting in 22 years.

It is only fitting that Lynch is the recipient of the CSPN Lifetime Achievement Award as he is looked up to by members across the nation, has contributed to the development and coordination of the 529 industry and plays a leading role in advocating for the legal and tax laws that make it so successful.
