Do you know someone who makes a world of difference for UA students?
Every year, Staff Alliance members partner with UAA, UAF, UAS, and System Office staff councils to honor staff who go above and beyond to support students in the university system. We need your help to learn who and how these hidden gems “Make Students Count.”
Started in 1999, this award recognizes staff who have provided outstanding service to UA students. Each recipient receives an award plaque, $1,000 and two domestic Alaska Airlines vouchers.
Remember - These exceptional employees might work behind the scenes! Think creatively on who
you may want to nominate.
We look forward to learning how staff make an impact in unexpected ways.

Please complete the nomination packet, found on the Staff Make Students Count website, and submit it to ua-sogov-office@alaska.edu by March 18, 2024.
Honorees will be celebrated at the June 3rd Board of Regents meeting.
