Nominations Open for University of Alaska Foundation Edith R. Bullock Prize for Excellence

Any student, faculty, alumni, staff or volunteer who has made a significant contribution to further the university's mission of inspiring learning, and advancing and disseminating knowledge through teaching, research, and public service is eligible. The prize includes a $20,000 award.

Vice President & Chief Academic Affairs finalists named

The search committee has recommended three finalists to President Pitney for a successor for Vice President Paul Layer, who plans to retire after a 35-year career at UAF and UA. The finalists will visit Fairbanks later this month and the finalists' dialogs with governance liaisons will be available as Zoom webinars for faculty, staff and students.
