As a step toward mitigating risk and implementing best practices, the University's Business Council unanimously endorsed, resourced and directed OIT to conduct a project to roll out a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) tool, DUO, for all users who have access to Banner.

On Saturday, May 15, and Saturday, May 22, UAF Facilities Services will be conducting a planned maintenance power shutdown to the entire Butrovich Building to prepare electrical systems for the integration of a new backup generator for the Butrovich Data Center (BDC). The electrical system must be completely powered down to ensure safety for the technicians doing the work.
