The campaign highlights a typical day in the life of two students, as well as two alums of the UA system who now work in the Alaska travel industry.

The Senator Ted Stevens Legislative Internship Program empowers UA students to study and be a part of the legislative process in Juneau. The program draws students from all three universities and many majors to Alaska's Capitol during the legislative session to work as full-time interns, while completing a rigorous academic program.

A century ago, these two institutions opened their doors to Alaskans: one, a community bank in Anchorage that became First National Bank Alaska, and the other, an agriculture and mining college in Fairbanks that evolved into the University of Alaska (UA) system. Both sought to provide new opportunities for a rapidly-growing territory.
