Acknowledgment and Logos
By our grant terms, any person receiving benefit from Alaska NSF EPSCoR must acknowledge it in any publications, presentations, websites, newsletters, dissertations, theses, etc. that result from Alaska NSF EPSCoR support.
Acknowledgment of Support
NSF requires that project participants include the following language in published materials based on NSF-supported projects:
"This material is based upon work supported by the National Science Foundation under
Cooperative Agreement No. (NSF award number)."
For work supported by the Interface of Change award (2024-2029), please note that:
"This material is based upon work supported by the National Science Foundation under award #OIA-2344553 and by the State of Alaska."
For work supported by the Fire and Ice award (2018-2023), please note that:
"This material is based upon work supported by the National Science Foundation under award #OIA-1757348 and by the State of Alaska."
NSF support should be orally acknowledged during all news media interviews, including popular media such as radio, television and news magazines.
Disclaimer
In addition to acknowledging NSF support, any published material based on or developed under this award, with the exception of scientific articles or papers appearing in scientific, technical or professional journals, should also contain the following disclaimer:
"Any opinions, findings, and conclusions or recommendations expressed in this material are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the National Science Foundation."
Logos
Please also include the Alaska EPSCoR logo, the NSF logo, and the project logo in printed and digital materials such as poster, flyers, websites, or other media.
