Jennifer Ostrom joined the Statewide Human Resources Department as the Office Coordinator on October 30, 2017. Ostrom will be the first point of contact for those who contact Statewide HR, handling day-to-day office functions and working as a personnel/payroll assistant.
Over the past nine years, Ostrom has worked in various intercollegiate athletics ticketing and marketing departments at the University of Washington, Notre Dame, and St. Mary’s College of California. Most recently, Ostrom comes to the University of Alaska from the private sector where she worked as an office coordinator at a local cultural resource management company.
Ostrom attended the University of Washington, graduating in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in history and political science. Originally from the Bay Area, Ostrom moved to Alaska with her husband in the summer of 2015.
In her spare time, she enjoys running, re-watching The Office, and traveling to see family. ��
Introducing new UA Foundation executive assistant Jessica Haley

Jess Haley has joined the University of Alaska Foundation as board coordinator and executive assistant. Her core focus areas are support for the UA Foundation's Board of Directors and President Susan Foley.
Haley recently worked in academic affairs at Loyola University Chicago and prior to that in student affairs at the University of Puget Sound.
Born and raised in Wasilla, Alaska, Haley only recently moved home to Alaska after a decade in the lower 48.
Haley attended Alaska Pacific University for her undergraduate education and Loyola University Chicago for graduate studies. She holds a bachelor's degree in liberal studies, a master's degree in higher education as well as aspirations for a long list of degrees she would love to have someday.
She and her husband enjoy spending time cycling and weightlifting. She can also be found find with her nose buried in cookbooks, finding new ideas for her Anchorage Cooking Club!

Monica Terrones, the new administrative assistant for the University of Alaska Foundation, performs office manager duties and helps manage and plan committee meetings for the UA Foundation's Board of Directors.
Terrones was born in Lima, Peru but was raised in Anchorage since the age of 8. She has a lot of family that still lives in Lima.
She graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and public communications.
Terrones enjoys traveling as much as possible. She loves running and hiking during the summer and tries to stay active. She's a big fan of comfy coffee shops and hanging out with her close friends and family.
