Jim Lynch presented achievement award
Jim Lynch was honored by the College Savings Plans Network for his expertise and long-time advocacy. Jim has been a driving force in the college savings industry since its inception in 1996, which has earned him the moniker "the Godfather of 529." �Former director of the UA College Savings Plan, Linda English, presented the award and noted the top ten most memorable things about Jim's leadership. Thank you Jim for helping thousands of families achieve higher education! Jim has announced that he has plans to retire in January or February 2018.�
CSPN Chair Treasurer Young Boozer kicked off the 2017 NAST Annual Conference in Minneapolis by presenting awards to two longtime 529 industry experts: Jim Lynch, Chief Treasury Officer, University of Alaska, was awarded the Chair's Achievement Award. Kathleen McGrath, former PA 529 College Savings Program Director was awarded the Distinguished Service Award. Congratulations to both of these distinguished awardees!
UAF Facility Services receives an achievement award
UAF Facility Services received an achievement award from Assetworks for their work to improve processes through greater utilization of the university's facility database (AiM) and the integration of technology.
