"Seedy Saturdays" Seed Swaps and Garden Lectures

Please join the John Trigg Ester Library (JTEL) for the "Seedy Saturday" Seed Swaps and Garden Lectures from 1 pm - 5 pm on� March 4 at Hartung Hall in Ester. Bring your friends, catalogs, and seeds to trade. Browse the JTEL seed library collection and "check out" some seeds to try in your garden this summer. Save them in the fall and return proven seeds to the swaps next spring!

At 3 p.m. Carol Lewis, dean and director emerita of the University of Alaska Fairbanks�School of Natural Resources, will speak on the history of the Experiment Station in Alaska. In addition, Monique Musick will have a photo exhibit representing the plant families comprising the JTEL seed library collection.

Bison Hunt Raffle

16th Annual Knights of Columbus Bison Hunt Raffle
(Hunt on Kodiak Game Ranch, Kodiak Island)

Guaranteed Hunt includes one 2-4 year old bull (head, meat & hide) with 3 days meal, lodging and ground transport during hunt.� No license needed. Scheduling to be arranged by winner.� Optimum period is Sept-Jan.� Travel to Kodiak not included.� Winners may opt for $3500 cast prize.� Prizes are transferrable.� One drawing for either Bison hunt or $3500 for each 1300 tickets sold!� Proceeds benefit Knights of Columbus charitable work in Alaska.
