Join General Counsel in Congratulating Ardith Lynch on Retirement!

Last day - May 6, 2016

Ardith Lynch joined the General Counsel's office in 2002, following 10 years of service as the Borough Attorney for the Fairbanks North Star Borough. In her nearly 14 years of service to the university system she has been the quintessential professional, providing practical legal advice on a broad range of topics. She has done so with unfailing grace, as well as uncommon judgment and wisdom. Even as she was planning her departure to join lawyer-husband Jim Cannon in retirement, she agreed to assume the role of interim CHRO, which she has filled since November. No surprise that she took on the challenges facing that office with the same determination, skill and professionalism that have been the hallmarks of her professional career. We wish her well in her new adventures.

– Mike Hostina, UA general counsel

Staff are invited to a retirement celebration for Ardith Lynch on Friday, May 6 from 9-10 a.m. in Butrovich 204.
