Seeking Volunteer Cooks

Do you think you have the best soup or bread around? The UA Foundation is seeking volunteer cooks for participation in our first “Soup-er Scholarship Feed” on Monday, April 1. The Foundation is hosting the soup feed where statewide employees can bring homemade, prepared soup or bread for a special taste-test, to kick off the 2013 Statewide Staff Fundraising Campaign. All funds raised from the “Soup-er Scholarship Feed” will go to the SW General Scholarship Fund, which benefits students from all campuses. The winners in both the soup and bread categories will receive a polar fleece UA insignia vest.

Entry deadline closes on Wednesday, March 27.

If the thought of cooking up something yummy makes your stomach rumble with excitement, please contact Dory Straight at 450-8033 or dory.straight@alaska.edu for Butrovich and Tami Choquette at 786-1169 or tami.choquette@alaska.edu for Bragaw.
