The race starts and ends at the library's gazebo, opposite the Ester Post Office, and loops through west Ester and the Tailings in three circuits. After each of the first two circuits, runners stop, grab a handful of magnetic poetry, and compose a poem. Contestants are judged on times, poems, and costumes. Race sponsor names appear on the t-shirt. Runners can help raise money too, by finding sponsors who pledge to donate to the library on their behalf. Come out on Sunday morning and cheer on your favorite runner, and help us build a library for the west end of the borough!
