Stephanie Virgo's responsibilities primarily include working with data regarding university grants and contracts. Virgo previously worked as a Research Assistant at Western Carolina University in the Institutional Research Office.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Virgo grew up near Asheville, North Carolina. She just arrived in Alaska June 2011.

She completed her undergraduate degree at Elon University with a BA in English and Biology. She completed her graduate degree at Western Carolina University where she received a MAT (Master of the Arts in Teaching) in English.

Virgo is single, and drove to Alaska from North Carolina. Some of her hobbies include reading science fiction and fantasy novels, creative writing, and gaming.
