Are you using MS Office 2007, and getting complaints that people can’t open the documents you send them?�You can set the default "file save as" to the Word 97-2003 file format, which is compatible with earlier versions of MS Office.

• Click the Office Button
• Click Word Options
• Click Save
• In the "Save Files in This Format" field, click the pull down arrow and select the Word 97-2003 format.
• Click the OK button.

Many of the custom choices you used to make under the Tools menu are available from the office button.�Some of them will affect all of your installed MS Office Applications.
