UAA Campus Buildings Office Space Leasing
PUBLIC NOTICE
The University of Alaska Land Management Office (UALM) is seeking public comment on the attached disposal plan to lease office space within UAA campus buildings located on UAA’s Anchorage Campus.
Parties interested in commenting on this proposed disposal plan must submit written comments to UALM by fax (907) 786-7733, by email at ua-land@alaska.edu, or at the address listed below by no later than 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, to be considered.

Disposal Plan
The University of Alaska Anchorage (“UAA”) will be making select areas of office space available for lease within its campus buildings located within the University Medical (“U-MED”) District in Anchorage, Alaska. Lease proposals will be considered from governmental agencies or other entities whose use of the space would be congruent with or supportive of the educational mission of the facility. Office space leases will be privately negotiated at or above fair market value as determined by appraisal or Broker’s Opinion of Value, and prospective lessees should anticipate that lease terms and rates will include annual adjustments based on the consumer price index or other negotiated factors.
Under this plan, interested parties will be encouraged to inquire as to the availability of space, suitability for the intended purpose, and any required permitting prerequisites, by contacting the University of Alaska Facilities Business Office, Gordon W Hartlieb Hall, Suite 106, 3211 Providence Drive, Anchorage AK 99508, 907-786-4905, uaa_fcsbusiness@alaska.edu, which can also include appointments to tour and inspect a particular facility. Interested parties can then submit a letter of interest to that office. Additional information regarding buildings may be available from local, state, and federal offices, including, but not limited to, the Municipality of Anchorage Assessor’s Office, building permitting office, land planning office, local utility companies, and the State of Alaska Recorder’s Office. This disposal plan is effective as long as the University owns the parcels.
