The University of Alaska has an 8.474-acre parcel of land available for commercial
lease at the southeast corner of the Geist Road and Loftus Road intersection. A 0.4
acre portion of this parcel with frontage on Geist Road is currently under commercial
lease to an operator of a drive-through espresso stand. Any lease agreement would
be subject to this existing lease.
The parcel is covered with spruce trees. Soil quality on the parcel varies. A soil
report is available for review in the Fairbanks office. The parcel is generally level
and at a grade with the road, except for the acreage at the intersection which is
approximately 12 feet below grade.
This parcel is located within the Fairbanks North Star Borough and is zoned General
Use-1 (GU-1). Utilities are available on site.
