Sustainable Tourism

As global interest in Alaskan landscapes has grown, the tourism industry has taken off. This program develops new types of tourism that sustainably explore Alaska's natural beauty. It provides comprehensive training in ecotourism, voluntourism, adventure travel, and infrastructural tourism, as well as field experiences in culinary arts, sports and recreation, hospitality management, and maritime operations. The program is experiential in nature and includes access to a cruise ship, a remote lodge, exoskeleton excursions, and more.
