National Microgrid Energy Lab

The National Microgrid Energy Lab (NMEL) develops lightweight, scalable, and rapidly deployable energy solutions for remote areas. The NMEL is recognized worldwide for its experience and leadership building robust energy systems for adverse conditions. Students gain expertise with renewables and legacy fuels, as well as comprehensive knowledge of the economics, engineering, and implementation protocols for a range of global contexts. Graduates, researchers, and instructors at the NMEL are regularly consulted for their expertise.
