Editing and Creating Pages & Sections
Logging In
Rather than using a centralized login screen, Modern Campus CMS allows editors to log in directly to specific web pages. This is accomplished using a DirectEdit link which is hidden in the footer of each live page managed within Modern Campus CMS.
Editing a Page
You can edit pages in Modern Campus CMS using the Classic Editor interface. This editor allows you to make changes to your web page content in an easy to use word processing environment.
Publishing/Submitting a Page
Once your edits are complete, you need to publish your page for those changes to be applied to your live web pages. Depending upon the publishing structure within your department, you may be able to directly publish pages, or you may have to submit pages to an approver as part of a workflow.
Creating New Pages, Sections, and Folders
Creating new pages in Modern Campus CMS is simple and easy using the preconfigured templates.
Do not delete or rename the index file!
An index file must be present in each directory, adhering to established conventions and best practices! It is a default landing page for that specific directory, and its presence ensures proper functioning, accessibility, and content visibility of your website.
