UA Board of Regents to meet November 11-12
The University of Alaska Board of Regents will hold a full board meeting Nov. 11-12 during which regents will discuss the FY23 operating and capital budget requests, tuition proposals for Academic Year 2023 and the university’s compensation philosophy. The board also will receive an update on the university’s goals and measures and approve a five-year strategic plan for the Alaska Native Success Initiative.
In honor of Veteran’s Day, regents will be provided an in-depth look into the services and support provided to student veterans and active military students and dependents across UAA, UAF and UAS. The “Did You Know” presentation will reflect on the long history the U.S. Military has had in Alaska and the many ways in which the university and the military partner today.
Other updates on the agenda include the FY22 Compact Report, Title IX, Government Relations, an update on the public awareness campaign, as well as chancellor and governance reports.
