Compliance Chat: Cybersecurity Insights from UA’s Compliance Chat Series

UA’s latest Compliance Chat series on cybersecurity is now complete. With increasing cyber threats, this series aims to raise our awareness on safeguarding our sensitive university information and systems.

The System Office of Audit and Compliance Services invites you to explore these “Chats,” led by Mary Gower, Senior Institutional Compliance Liaison. These micro-trainings offer compliance insights from university experts to uphold laws, policies and regulations. In line with federal guidelines, UA releases a new Chat and a compliance-focused article each month to promote these principles throughout the university. Cumulative views for these videos have surpassed 2,500.

This new series features a range of cybersecurity topics and university experts, including Raina Collins discussing data security and privacy, Joshua Craft addressing social engineering, Bill Anker exploring social engineering using AI, Aaron Menshouse and Sean Hagan and covering the secure usage of smartphones and laptops during travel, Jeannette Okinczyc focusing on phishing, and Kaitlyn Malloy discussing password security.
