NEW community campus profile pages
March 8, 2024
A major focus of the Community Campus Directors Council (CCDC) is to work collaboratively to showcase the unique and diverse efforts of the community campuses and career and technical centers. For many citizens in Alaska, their main connection with the University is the small campus in their hometown.
The new Community Campuses page on our Alaska.edu site is our attempt to tell the unique stories of the Community Campuses and Career and Tech Ed Centers that play such a significant role in bringing the benefits of a university education to our communities.
Please follow this link to Community Campus Profiles for your respective universities. You’ll note under each campus thumbnail is a button to each profile.
These profiles are the result of collaboration among the Office of Workforce Development, Data Analysis and Institutional Research, the Community Campus Directors Council, and leadership across the system.
Each highlight the community college mission being served by the universities and more specifically:
- AY23 student data
- Wage growth of program graduates
- Student success, program highlights, and community impacts
Please use and distribute these profiles as you see fit to increase awareness, support advocacy, and strengthen recruitment. As this is the inaugural publication, we'll continue our collaborative efforts to update and refine content for future iterations.
