FAFSA delay for 2024-2025

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opens on Oct. 1 of each year. However, in 2020, Congress passed the 'FAFSA Simplification Act,' which represents a significant overhaul of the FAFSA application process.

As a result of these changes, the 2024-2025 FAFSA Application will be delayed until December 2023. Students attending school during the Fall of 2024, Spring of 2025, or the Summer of 2025 should complete their FAFSAs in December.
