UA Governance groups welcome Noel Romanovsky

The Office of Academics, Students & Research welcomed Noel Romanovsky to the team at the end of August. She will be providing administrative support to the governance groups at the System Office level including Staff Alliance, Faculty Alliance, the Coalition of Student Leaders as well as the System Office Staff Council.
Prior to joining the system office, Romanovsky was a UAF staff member in the College of Natural Science and Mathematics (CNSM) as an administrative assistant to the dean, and was co-owner of a toy shop in Fairbanks.
Romanovsky arrived in Fairbanks in the mid 70’s and attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She is married to UAF researcher Vladimir Romanovsky and they have two grown sons. She enjoys hiking in the great outdoors, art, music, gardening, and travel, is a bibliophile, and is fluent in Russian.
