Nicole Goff named Director of Fund Stewardship for the UA Foundation

The University of Alaska Foundation is happy to announce that we have hired Nicole Goff as our new Director of Fund Stewardship.
The Director of Fund Stewardship serves as the UA Foundation lead for the distribution and use of philanthropic funds to the University of Alaska. The position is responsible for ensuring the fund management and distribution processes are established, documented, and adhered to while meeting the needs of all parties including internal foundation staff, university faculty/staff, university leadership, and ultimately honoring donor intent.
Nicole will be joining our Fairbanks office on April 1st, transitioning from her current role at UAF. Nicole has a strong background in relationship-building, strategic planning, organization, and communication. Since November 2022, Nicole has served as the Director of Career Services, following two years of dedicated service as a Career Services Advisor. In her current capacity, she has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in managing large-scale projects and events, while fostering meaningful connections with students, staff, faculty, employers, and various stakeholders.
As she steps into the role of Director of Fund Stewardship, Nicole eagerly anticipates leveraging her expertise to further the UA Foundation’s mission.
Prior to her time in Career Services, Nicole served as an elementary school educator, with experience teaching in both Fairbanks, Alaska and Arizona. Currently, she enriches her academic contributions as an adjunct professor at UAF, furthering her impact in higher education.
When not in the office, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and her three dogs: Bjorn, Odin, and Freyja. She also spends much of her free time exploring new places, enjoying new restaurants, reading a good book, and spending time outside. Nicole thrives on being a lifelong learner, finding joy in the pursuit of new knowledge and experiences.
