The University of Alaska is committed to providing a safe and respectful educational environment free from discrimination on the basis of sex, as required by Title IX. This extends to admissions and employment to provide a safe and healthy in-person and virtual/online educational and work environment in which educational programs, internships, practicums, employment, research activities, conference and meeting participation, study abroad programs and other off-campus academic or research related activities are free of sexual or gender-based discrimination. UA Safe Title IX Training is mandatory for all University of Alaska employees and must be completed by October 31, 2021.

We want you to know that:

UA Board of Regents’ Policy and Regulation Chapter 01.04 defines prohibited behavior and details the administrative grievance procedures and grievance process for inquiries, investigations, hearings, and appeals which apply when prohibited behavior is alleged to have occurred.
