An update on FY 22 Open Enrollment
We have redesigned the Open Enrollment form to be more intuitive and user friendly for FY22. The form is slightly longer, but walks you through each benefit step by step with clear instruction on how to complete your enrollment.
Remember, if you are not making any health plan changes and not re-enrolling in the FSAs, you DO NOT need to complete an Open Enrollment form. Your benefits will stay the SAME for FY22!
REMOVAL OF AGE REDUCTION SCHEDULE FOR LIFE INSURANCE:
University employees age 65 and over will no longer be affected by an age reduction schedule. The University has removed this provision from Supplemental Life Insurance effective July 1, 2021.
During each Open Enrollment, or if you experience a qualifying major life event, you may elect or increase your supplemental coverage amount to a maximum of $100,000 with no medical underwriting. Increases beyond $100,000 will require medical evidence of insurability. See the below rate sheet for updated Supplemental Life Insurance costs.
