Don’t forget to get your flu vaccine! With cold winter months upon us, kids back in school and germs circulating, now is a great time to get your annual flu vaccine to help protect yourself and your family.

Remember, the flu vaccine does not protect against COVID-19 so it is important to also get your covid vaccine. If you are already vaccinated, it’s time to get your booster shot!

If you are an employee of the University of Alaska System Office operating on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus or an employee of UAF, you are likely required by federal mandate to receive the vaccine or provide a valid religious or medical waiver.

The University of Alaska Anchorage is providing flu shots and the COVID-19 vaccine to students, staff and faculty at the Student Health and Counseling Center, by appointment only. Call 907-786-4040 for an appointment or if you have questions.
