Reminders for FSA & HSA Account holders
If you have an FSA or HSA, it’s a great time to check in on your account!
The University of Alaska offers Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HC FSA) and a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DC FSA). The HC FSA is for medical expenses while the DC FSA is for daycare expenses for dependent children under the age of 13. Both accounts set aside pre-tax dollars. The University of Alaska offers a Health Savings Account (HSA) to employees enrolled in the UA Choice HDHP. The HSA allows employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to cover medical expenses.
