Modification to Video Recording Records Retention Requirements

Given the more common use of Zoom as a part of recruiting, the UA Talent Acquisition team has put new practices in place to ensure compliance with records retention for interviews that are recorded via Zoom. While not all Zoom interviews will be recorded, below is guidance for those interviews that require video recording.
Beginning April 24, 2023, video recordings of interviews should be retained as part of the recruitment Records Retention.
- The HR Coordinator for the search should retain the link from the Zoom interview.
- The candidate should be informed and provide consent to the recording of their interview.
- At this time, recording must be done in Zoom since the university has their licensing with Zoom.
- The HR Coordinator should supply the link to the recording to UA-Talent Acquisition to be stored as part of the recruitment record.
