Just Released: Educational Attainment Incentive Program (EAIP)
November 18, 2022
The University of Alaska is dedicated to student learning, and continuing education and professional development of university staff. In order to encourage and support higher education and professional development of employees, a new employee incentive program has been established.
The Educational Attainment Incentive Program (EAIP) rewards employees who take the initiative to advance their knowledge and professional skills by completing an advanced degree or certificate program.
EAIP provides an increase in salary once a qualified degree or certificate program is completed. Eligible employees are regular, benefit eligible employees who have completed their initial probationary period. University officers or senior administrators, academic or represented staff, temporary or student workers are ineligible. Requests for EAIP salary increases are made by the employee directly to the UA HR Compensation Team using a link to the EAIP NextGen Form. More information and details can be found in the ESM Knowledgebase article or at the EAIP website.
