Open Enrollment Has Begun, Here’s What to Know

April 15, 2022

Open Enrollment began this week and to help you navigate the process, we've created this decision guide to walk you through some questions to help you discover if you even need to complete a form this year.

FY23 Open Enrollment Decision Guide

Are you making any of these changes to your benefits?

Changes include any ONE or more of the following:

  • Changing your health plan
  • Changing your covered dependents (add/drop)
  • Enrolling or re-enrolling in a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HC FSA)
    • If you are currently enrolled and which to continue your enrollment, you must re-enroll for FY23
  • Enrolling or re-enrolling in a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DC FSA)
    • If you are currently enrolled and which to continue your enrollment, you must re-enroll for FY23
  • Enrolling in a NEW Health Savings Account (if enrolled in CDHP plan)
    • If you want to ONLY MAKE CHANGES to your existing Health Savings Account, you may do so via the Health Savings Account enrollment form and NOT through an Open Enrollment form
  • Enrolling in or making changes to either of the Voluntary Life Insurance Options (Supplemental Life Insurance and/or Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance)

If you answered “yes” to any of these, you need to complete a new Open Enrollment Form.

If you answered “no” to all of the above, you do not need to complete a new Open Enrollment Form.
